Assignment:  Visual Culture Reconstructions

Medium:  Ink, Pencil/Charcoal, Paper, Paint, Glue, Bristol Board

Description: On a 11″ x 14″ sheet of Bristol Board, using samples of visual culture sourced from photos/magazine/paper/artworks, create a collage/composition that applies perspective, scale/proportion, illusion of space/motion in order to communicate a phrase, lyrics, poem, words you have chosen. (3+ hrs)

Aims: Engage collage techniques to experiment with the design elements shape/space, texture, value, and color and principles of unity/variety, rhythm and/or motion.
